The S.L.U.T. Protocol
|
I believe that BDSM lifestyle can also be a philosophy on how to have relationships with humans, non-humans and oneself. Or ultimately - with life.
The basis of it is consent, but in its widest sense. Perhaps the closest description in My world is the etymology of 'consent' that comes from the old French 'consentir'. It describes feeling together (sentir-con), or, a ‘coming together to feel’. But how does one do that? I've designed the S.L.U.T. Protocol to act as a guide - ethical, moral, spiritual, alchemical or beyond - when you are lost, inspired or in need. It is based on the principles that, I believe, make for the most fulfilling D/s relationships and they are broad enough to be really individual. You are welcome to also apply the Protocol outside of BDSM. N.B. The S.L.U.T. Protocol is a living thing, therefore it is also a work in progress. |
The S.L.U.T. Protocol is based on four pillars:
SERVICE
LOVE
UNDERSTANDING
TRUST

A fundamental groundwork for any relation, micro and macro level, starts from work or SERVICE.
Often misused by unethical powers, it is in fact a liberatory action by itself, a purposeful solid ground to stand on for a human, who is inevitably, eventually looking for a purpose. It is the small and big actions you do for another. It is where the thought alchemises into action. It is the soil from where the tree grows and where you get your hands 'dirty'. It frees you from your individualism, even if briefly, and makes you face the truth that SERVICE by and in itself holds humanity together. Key words: ground, work, action, solid, purpose, dirt, community, humanity, structure, physicality, proof, selflessness, selfishness, ritual, giving, receiving, safety, practical, security, movement. Element: earth Body part: spine, extremities Action: do a daily ritual for the good of another Kink activity: objectification |

Relations often go beyond explanation or practicality, yet we still are in them. You may call it LOVE, energy, a feeling, emotion, mystery, horniness, inspiration or a connection.
But LOVE is where the wonder and hope of life arises and is cultivated. This is where the unspoken is expressed and the unconscious is brought to the front. This is where the motivation and ability to extend beyond ourselves for another and oneself resides. This is that soft warmth that helps you see human as human and their worth, especially when it is hard to do so. This is where you acknowledge, without external influence, what your values are. Key words: mystery, impractical, energy, feeling, emotion, horniness, inspiration, connection, wonder, hope, unspoken, unconscious, motivation, softness, warmth, values, heat, arousal, aliveness. Element: fire Body part: throat, chest Action: feel and express emotion Kink activity: feet or body worship |

Relations die without curiosity and attention. UNDERSTANDING will assist with 'being more' without needing to have more, without needing to relentlessly move, achieve or forcibly change.
Through the process of communication, listening, story-learning and sharing, being face to face with another and being with what is, a certain energy and bond will grow that will eventually invite relaxation, ease and creativity. UNDERSTANDING will help you see that there is a whole universe in each that shifts and is naturally flexible. It will bring kindness through knowing internal and external context and joyfully painful acceptance that you never fully will. Key words: curiosity, attention, communication, listening, story-telling, presence, energy, bond, relaxation, ease, creativity, universe, flexibility, kindness, context, joy, pain, study, questions, knowing, not knowing. Element: air Body part: mouth, brain Action: ask questions Kink activity: humiliation |

Each relation contains an embodied feeling that cannot be mistaken nor always explained, yet without which barely anything can continue. Despite its potential mystery, TRUST is tangible and practical because you can create it and cultivate with rather easy steps.
This is a feeling of home, of knowing you belong. This is a sight of hope in the web of isolation. This is where all your parts can relax or panic, yet know they are okay. This is also a place of experimentation, flow and laughter, because even if you may do wrong, mistakes are accepted and explored. This where you may feel whole, no matter your shape, state or form. Key words: body, tangible, practical, process, home, belonging, web, wholesome, experimentation, flow, laughter, mistakes, acceptance, exploration, whole, shape-shifting, consent, CNC, edge. Element: water Body part: anus, gut Action: breath together Kink activity: bondage |
